Get friends with clay

Tomatoes contain antiseptic properties which help in drying up blackheads naturally. Take a small tomato, peel it and mash it. Apply it on the blackheads before going to bed. Keep it overnight and rinse off with clean lukewarm water the next morning. You can also mix the juice of tomatoes with fresh cream and can apply it on your face.
Exfoliate your skin with lemon scrub
Lemons are effective in removing blackheads as they contain bleaching properties. Also, it acts as a mild astringent which helps in maintaining the overall complexion of the skin. Add a few drops of the lemon juice to a pinch of salt and mix well. Wash your face well and apply the mixture on blackheads. Leave for 20 minutes and wash again with warm water. If your skin feels dry, you can apply some moisturizer.
Oatmeal face pack
Oatmeal is a nutrient-rich grain which is helpful in treating a number of skin problems such as blackheads and irritated skin. It acts as a natural cleanser and exfoliant, which helps the clogged pores to loosen which in turn lead to blackheads. Mix 2 tablespoons of oatmeal with 3 tablespoons of yogurt. Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and olive oil to it. Mix all these ingredients well till it forms a paste. Apply this mixture on the face and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes. Wash it with cold water.

Baking soda and water
This little inexpensive ingredient of your kitchen can do wonders to your skin. The tiny granules of the baking soda help in exfoliating and remove anything that clogs your pores. Mix baking soda and plain water to form a thick paste. Apply it all over your face and massage gently in a thick circular motion. Rinse thoroughly with water and make sure that you moisturize.
Blackheads can be irritating as it feels that you have been targeted right in the center of your face. But if you worry, you tend to produce even more blackheads. The best to avoid blackheads is to maintain a healthy regime- drink at least 8-10 glasses of water and exercise regularly.
